Italian/Danish born in Italy, near Rome in 1983. In his early twenties Patrick discovered a deep interest in documentary photography and decided to move to Milan, in northern Italy, to study photojournalism. In 2007 he gained a Master in Reportage and in 2009 a scholarship at the Danish School of Media and Journalism in Århus, Denmark, to attend the international semester in Advanced Visual Storytelling. In 2010 he moved to London, that same year travelled to Thailand to cover the Red Shirts uprising and was enrolled in the Emerging Talent section of Reportage by Getty Images. Since 2012 Patrick works independently, in 2016 he moved to Asia and currently lives in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.
